Rates change on a constant basis according to event, time of year and so on.
Dorms usually start from R80 depending on time off year.
Privates usually start from R100 per person.
All prices quoted include airport shuttle pick up and free ADSL internet.
Rooms:
Dorm - Duiker: Three bed dormitary with bunk and a single, with TV and cupboards for storage. Next to a bathroom with shower and bath. This room is popular with the International backpacker crowd.
Private Double - Lion: Lion is a smaller private room with TV and double bed which is located next to a bathroom with shower and bath. Double bed, shared bathroom, TV.
Double Bed en suite - Elephant: Elephant is a quiet double private en suite, with shower. Set in a secluded part of the building. Great for the Honeymoon couple.
Double bed en suite - Rhino: Double private with en suite, shower and separate bath, TV with pool view.
Family / Friends en suite - Blesbok: Twin beds with bunk, sleeps 4 with TV and video, with shower in its en suite.
Family Room en suite (sleeps 5): Sleeps 5 with TV and en suite with bath and separate shower. Has a screen that separates a bunk from a single and a Queen bed. Has a pool view over the garden.
Single Room - Zulu: Single Room cabin type with garden and pool views.
Twin beds en suite - Zebra: Sleeps 2 in twin beds with en suite and garden view. TV with video machine and video library available.
Twin beds with Ensuite - Buffalo: 1 Queen bed and a single bed make up this en suite with shower and separate bath. It has a TV and is spacious.

“Purple Palms Flashpackers was a great place to stay at. Its in a quiet neighbourhood and we felt very safe. It was also very nice and clean and the staff friendly. We were within a 5 min drive from a big shopping mall so could go and watch a movie and grab some dinner in the evening. It was also nice to have a small supermarket and off-licence less than a 5 min walk away to go and buy the basics."

Our stay at Purple Palms was very good. Very hospitable staff members. The rooms very immaculately clean. The environs, ie the gardens and the bar are nextto none. I have stayed at other lodges in SA, but yours is top of the list in terms of conditions. Keep it up. Will call again!

Lovely hostel, high standard of cleanliness. Throughout I felt very homely. The staff were friendly & helpful. My room (elephant) was excellent. Hot shower was fantastic after travelling for six weeks.
I shall recommend to all my friends!
